Congratulations to LOROL on their recent opening of the East London Line (01/06/2010) In setting up the new operation, LOROL needed to train, assess and qualify more than 150 new train drivers, a feat that has been a unique achievement in modern UK railway history.
In doing so LOROL have introduced some excellent operational systems, procedures and working practices many of which have been sited as examples of industry best practice.
We believe that their investment in developing forward-thinking approaches to training, competence management and staff guidance will become the model which others will want to follow over the next decade. It will deservedly
pay dividends to them for many years to come in this and other operations.
RPD are very proud to have played our part in assisting LOROL in the introduction of this important new route.
